How the NTR system works
The NTR system is built on a clear separation of roles to ensure impartiality, consistency and credibility.
- The Nordic Wood Preservation Council (NWPC) owns and develops the NTR system and the NTR mark
- Independent, approved control bodies carry out audits and quality control
- Producers are licensed to use the NTR mark when all requirements are fulfilled
- Continuous control and follow-up safeguard long-term quality and trust
