Kestopuuteollisuus ry is an industry association of companies operating in the wood impregnation industry.
The association was founded in 1950. We represent a traditional industry in Finland. Our task is to take care of the general welfare of the impregnation industry. We participate in the preparation of legislation, standardization and construction guidelines. We are responsible for cooperation with authorities in the field, joint research, training and information activities, and we participate in international cooperation in the field. We take care of the promotion and visibility of durable wood products in Finland. In addition, Kestopuuteollisuus ry directs and supervises the operations of its subsidiary Demolite Oy .
Kestopuuteollisuus ry is an association member of Puutuoteollisuus ry. In addition, we are involved in the activities of the Nordic Wood Preservation Council and the European interest organization for the impregnation industry, WEI .
