It acts as a social hub and event space for residents and visitors to enjoy all year round.<\/p>\n<p>As befits eco-conscious V\u00e4xj\u00f6, a city surrounded by forests that\u2019s become known as Europe\u2019s first modern wooden town, Vattentorget was made from wood that\u2019s been treated by preservatives which meet NTR\u2019s wood protection standards.
